We made it to v0.2! With some great new visual cues (mentioned below), and a functioning buy/sell system, the game deserves to have the minor version bumped up!

Updates:

• Updated key to enter space station port. Please now use the key E instead of Enter/Return. This makes it easier to play with a single hand instead of having to move you hand back and forth from your mouse.
• Added indicator (arrow) for the direction of the space station. This makes it far easier to make it back to the space station and is a huge improvement in general playability.
• Added a circular indicator for when you can enter a port. This is useful to let you know when you can press E and have it work.
• Added directional speed trails behind the ship as it moves. This provide a good indicator for the direction your ship is moving through space (even if your ship isn't necessarily pointed in that direction).
• Port credits now reflect properly when you buy/sell/repair/refuel. Unfortunately there is no way to give the port more money if you manage to get all of its money (unless you spam the refuel/repair but this reduces your own money)

Thoughts/Observations:

• I'm very happy with the new UI elements to help make the game feel more playable. They weren't huge as far as amount of work, but they added a lot of good visual indication which should help the player significantly in the game.
• I'm still missing sfx/music and this is probably becoming more apparent. An item collection sfx and possibly a thruster sfx would probably add a lot at this point, as well as nice easy-paced ambient space music.
• Obstacles and 'time-restriction' by limited fuel will add more complexity and difficulty into the game.
• I may increase the 'playing-field' range around the ship to make things feel like they continue to exist even if we cant see them. In order for that to work, I'll probably also have to increase the number of crystals floating around at any given time, but it could also increase difficulty by making them harder to find/obtain.
